Leroy!

Leroy is a strikingly handsome 2-year-old orange tabby cat! He came into our care as a stray in April and was sadly, not claimed. Leroy has a very outgoing personality, and can become overstimulated easily. He is a very friendly and outgoing boy. Leroy is very playful and enjoys crinkle balls, and wands. This agile fellow will leap into the air and catch wands and if given the opportunity, will rid your home of any pesky flies. Leroy is a foodie, this guy loves to eat! Because of his zealous eating habits, Leroy will require a slow feeder in his new home. This ensures Leroy has to work for his food, and slows him down. If he had it his way, he would lower his jaw and shovel food into his mouth. This can result in an upset belly; the slow feeder has worked very well in making sure he chews his food. He can be a little bit of a hangry boy and becomes frustrated if he is not fed fast enough. Patience is not a virtue for Leroy. He does have a sensitive stomach and should maintain a consistent feeding schedule, and a portioned diet. Leroy would very much enjoy a feline friend in his new home. He enjoys the company of other cats, but he is lacking manners. He can be rough and tumble playmate and would do best in a home with a cat of a similar personality. If he is adopted to a home with another cat, they will have to be tolerant while he learns boundaries. Leroy would do well in a home with older kids (8+) and I’m sure he’d make the greatest snuggle buddy after a long day of ripping around the house. He has not yet been tested with dogs, but this can be arranged with an approved application.

Leroy has been neutered, and can begin his new life the very same day he is adopted! He has also been vaccinated, dewormed and will be microchipped. Leroy’s parents will receive 4 weeks’ free trial pet insurance with his adoption- to ensure he remains in tip top health!
