Rusty Rusty is an 8-year-old neutered male. He is mostly white with various red tabby patches. Rusty was transferred to us and upon intake we realized there was a problem with his right hind leg. He wasn’t putting any weight on it so he was sent for x-rays. They showed that the damage to his leg was beyond repair and he would need an amputation. He has since had his surgery and is learning to live his life as a tripod. He gets around quite well and runs up to you when you enter the room. Rosemary Rosemary is a 4-year-old female. She has the softest medium length coat with gorgeous colouring. Rosemary has become a staff favourite. She has such a sweet personality and just wants to be loved. She is always at the front of her cage hoping that someone might open it and give her pets. When she knows she is about to get affection she will roll onto her back to have her belly rubbed. She loves belly rubs. Jarrod Jarrod is a 1-year-old brown tabby. He is a neutered male that came in to QHS as a stray and was never claimed. He would like to be an inside only kitty. Jarrod has been at the shelter for just over a month now, and although he was shy at first, he has really warmed up to staff since his arrival. He is truly one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. Jarrod enjoys being pet, and really likes a good back scratch but prefers not to be picked up.
