Happy Tails 😻
Today (November 14, 2020) marks the one year anniversary of adopting two feral cats from the QHS barn cat program. I have quite the unusual update for you! It is a little long but well worth the read (I tried to shorten the details as much as possible).

A Tribute to Pat Culhane
The Board, staff and volunteers of the Quinte Humane Society are shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Board member and animal-lover, Pat Culhane.
Pat served on the QHS Board for six of the past seven years, at times as the Acting Chair. She was involved in many fundraising initiatives, a long-time donor and a staunch supporter of the need for a new facility.
We will all remember Pat as a passionate champion for animal welfare, for her rich history in this community and for her love of animals. She will be deeply missed by all of us at the QHS!

“As promised I am sending and update on Cha Cha (now Harry) and Rumba (now Ruby). They are fitting in quite nicely. Took a little longer for Ruby but they both now love lap time and lots of loving. They have grown quite a bit since we adopted them. They are quite entertaining when they play and are very busy kitties. They are definitely bonded, they do most everything together and are never too far apart. They are completely adorable and we are so happy and grateful we could give them a home.”
This brother and sister pair came into our care here at QHS in June
