The QHS is a registered charity that serves all of Prince Edward and Hastings County. We are a non-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Furry felines make great friends, and we want to see more cats help take away some of YOUR lonely hours. We have lowered the adoption fee of many wonderful cats that just want a nice lap to cuddle in. For a small adoption fee you can have a cat with all the work done for you such as: spayed or neutered, first set of vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment and 6 weeks of free pet insurance. Our shelter is bursting at the seams with cats and they want a chance to show you how much they appreciate a forever family to call their own. We recommend our cats always be indoor cats, as they have become accustomed to using a litter box now and spending time with our staff. Drop by and choose the purrrrfect kitty for your home.
